David has had a back condition for years. But last week, it got very much worse. He could not move. He was wracked with pain.

His wife thought about going to the ER but he could not sit in their car. So she called 911 at 9:30PM.

He waited at home unti the ambulance arrived at 6:30AM, the next day.

They were stunned.

The para-medics were apologetic.  They told David and his wife that during their shift,  there were only 2 active ambulances in Toronto.

The result of the ambulances in Toronto were mandated to stay with new patients arriving at the ER until the hospitals had accepted them.

Dozens of ambulances were sitting in the parking lots of the hospitals. Waiting and not able to respond to patients in distress.

Do you think that something is broken and needs fixing?
